Hey --

This past weekend was pretty incredible. Thousands of grassroots supporters just like you joined us at Camden County College to show the strength of our movement for fair wages, access to education, affordable health care, and more.

The room was filled with signs showing a big red "X" over the president's claim that South Jersey is "Trump Country." Hopefully, my Trump-loving opponent heard our message loud and clear.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us for Saturday's Rally for Progress! And thank you, of course, to Speaker Pelosi, Governor Murphy, and Senator Cory Booker for your ongoing support and kind words.

There are 214 lawyers in Congress -- but only one electrician. Look, I've been a single dad. I've been unemployed and worked for minimum wage. Not many people make the move from construction site to the halls of the House of Representatives, but I'm proud of my roots.

Those roots mean that everything I do in Washington is in service of the working families back home.
