Today marks 600 days since Putin’s unprovoked and illegal invasion of Ukraine. A ground war in Europe, with the fate of Ukraine and ultimately the rest of Europe hanging in the balance.

And in the Eastern Mediterranean, with tensions rising to levels we haven’t seen in a generation or more, two U.S. Naval Carrier Groups have been deployed.

In so many ways, this is the world Donald Trump and the GOP led us to. Authoritarianism, lies, and chaos on the rise, with democracy on the ropes.

That is why the work that VoteVets does is so important. Dispelling and combatting disinformation, defending our democracy, supporting Veterans and our National Security. And yes, making sure that in this critical time, the right officers fill the right seats by ending Tommy Tuberville’s irresponsible, dangerous, traitorous hold on senior Military promotions.
