While countries like Mexico are decriminalizing abortion, in some regions across the globe – including the United States – abortion deserts are growing in size and number. Tens of millions of people live in regions with extremely limited or non-existent access to abortion and other reproductive health care. This is WRONG.

And now, in the United States, study after study shows abortion bans are draining states of health care providers, rapidly turning ban states into dangerous maternal health care deserts.
