Change in Preferred Drug List Status for Drug Classes Takes Effect Oct. 16, 2023
In response to the shortage of the preferred brand name products Androgel, Norditropin, Genotropin, and Valcyte solution, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission has removed the non-preferred status from the generic testosterone gel products and generic valganciclovir solution as well as the Omnitrope vial and Skytrofa on the preferred drug list (PDL).
