Patriot,
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is in America with 108 reported cases as of this hour.
Six Americans have succumbed to the virus and we should expect a surge of those infected with the virus.
Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, has declared a public health emergency as there are now two positive cases of Coronavirus in Florida.
This is the somber reality of the world but, to our benefit, America’s free-market healthcare system is the best-equipped on Earth to deal with this threat.
We all have to work together to control this outbreak.
The CDC has posted many helpful guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Yes, they will seem simple, but panicking will cause far more problems than a virus ever could.
If your loved ones become sick, care for them while maintaining the CDC’s recommendations. If you become sick there’s an entirely different set of recommendations to follow. See here.
While we have our political differences, Americans all have one thing in common: we’re fighters and as resilient as they come.
What is not helpful is politicians using a serious health issue for political gain.
- Just hours ago Nancy Pelosi bashed President Trump for rightfully continuing his work to dismantle Obamacare.
- Chuck Schumer spread fake news that President Trump called the Coronavirus “a hoax.” He did not.
- Ilhan Omar piled on by attempting to tie the Coronavirus to President Trump’s long known cost-saving measures for Medicare and Medicaid, retweeting “As the coronavirus crisis threatens our health and safety, Trump is proposing massive cuts to our health care.”
- Even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez got into the mix, calling it “utterly irresponsible” to put Vice President Pence in charge of the U.S. response to the Coronavirus. AOC, who worked as a bartender before her election to Congress, then went on to tout her expertise on the issue stating, “I hold awards . . . for accomplishments in microbiology.”
- My opponent, Lois Frankel, used the Coronavirus to urge people to stay home while saying “but many Americans lack paid sick leave . . . we need the Healthy Families Act now!”
I cannot make this stuff up.
As Rahm Emanuel, Barack Obama’s old chief of staff used to say, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste.”
And the Democrats never disappoint.
This is yet another reason why Republicans MUST take back the house. We need serious leaders who put people over politics.
We need leaders who use their time in office to do good and assist the Trump Administration in moving our nation forward, not backwards.
Thank you again for all that you do, and please do reach out if you need any assistance from me. I’ll do all that I can.
Respectfully,
Laura Loomer
P.S. While our resources are tight for the campaign, if there’s anything that we can do to assist you as the Coronavirus spreads, please do let us know by replying to this email. We’re maintaining a list of links for information regarding COVID-19 along with a rolling list of N95 mask suppliers in the event that you or a family member becomes ill (they are not recommended until then). Thanks again and please do your part to keep your community healthy in the coming weeks.
