Here's what's at stake: in 2019, pro-equality candidates took BACK the Virginia House of Delegates. They made sexual orientation and gender identity protected classes to combat discrimination in housing and workplaces and expanded hate crimes legislation to protect LGBTQ+ people. They banned conversion therapy - the first state in the U.S. South to do it - and passed legislation benefiting trans kids in schools. They did a lot of great work!

And this year pro-equality and pro-choice leaders successfully blocked bigoted bills, like Virginia’s version of "Don't Say Gay" and a 15-week abortion ban.
