John,
Today is Super Tuesday. While the country makes moves to elect a socialist to the White House, we’re coordinating a groundswell to limit the power of the federal government.
Congress can’t stop us. The President can’t stop us. SCOTUS can’t stop us.
Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives the states authority to call for a Convention of States to propose amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
To call the convention, it takes 34 states passing resolutions that call for a convention limited to the same subject matter.
Here’s the good news: 15 states have already passed our resolution calling for a Convention of States to propose amendments that limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, place term limits on federal officials, and fiscal restraints on good ol’ Uncle Sam.
Can you say, “Goodbye career politicians?”
Right now, we’re on the brink of a major victory in South Carolina, where we expect a Committee vote later today.
To help push us across the finish line and secure our 16th passed state, a generous donor is ready to match every online donation made before midnight of March 7 — up to $50,000!
Will you help fuel our 2020 Victory Fund by chipping in whatever you can today? ([link removed]) Every dollar will be doubled.
