In response to another attack from bankers questioning the credit union industry’s tax exemption and motives, NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and CUNA President and CEO Jim Nussle set the record straight on the credit union difference.

NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger Tuesday will hold a virtual town hall for members only with CFPB Director Rohit Chopra. NAFCU credit union members can register to attend the free event, scheduled for 11 a.m. Eastern. Berger and Chopra will discuss a broad range of issues impacting the credit union industry, including recent rulemakings and the importance of community financial institutions to the health of the financial system.
