Iran’s Foreign Minister Meets Hamas Leader

Daily Wire: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian flew to Qatar and met with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Saturday night as war raged in the region following Hamas’ terrorist attack against Israel last weekend. The Palestinian terrorist organization, which is backed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, murdered more than 1,300 Israelis and injured over 3,000 more. The scale of the terrorist attack, when adjusted for the difference in population size, would be equivalent to approximately a dozen 9/11 terror attacks (Daily Wire). Reporter Yashar Ali: The Islamic Republic’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Qatar tonight. This was first reported by media outlets controlled by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic (X).

Israeli Ambassador to Senior UN Member: “don’t forget to wash the blood of Israeli babies off your hands”
Times of Israel: Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan on Saturday slammed UN special coordinator for the Middle East Tor Wennesland for meeting with the foreign minister of Iran, and said he was cutting ties with the official. On Friday Erdan held a solidarity event for hostages held by Hamas in Gaza at which he denounced the UN’s stance on the crisis, charging that the body was indifferent to the murder of 1,300 Israelis and “does not want Israel to defend itself” (Times of Israel). Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan: Tor Wennesland, don’t forget to wash the blood of Israeli babies off your hands after that handshake. Today, senior UN official, Tor Wennesland not only met with the Iranian regime’s FM, but didn’t even bother condemning Iran for its role in the massacre of Israeli women and children. It’s no secret that Hamas terrorists are openly praising Iran for funding, arming, and training them. At the VERY SAME TIME, Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, openly called on the Muslim world to expand the attack on Israel. The UN’s support for and legitimization of genocidal terrorists is a threat to civilization (X)!

Iran’s Foreign Minister Threatens Israel to Stop Gaza Attacks or They Will Endure a “Huge Earthquake”
Politico: Iran’s foreign minister on Saturday called on Israel to stop its attacks on Gaza, warning that the war might expand to other parts of the Middle East if Hezbollah joins the battle, and that would make Israel suffer “a huge earthquake.” Hossein Amirabdollahian told reporters in Beirut. Israel considers Hezbollah its most serious immediate threat, estimating it has some 150,000 rockets and missiles, including precision-guided missiles that can hit anywhere in Israel. The group, which has thousands of battle-hardened fighters who participated in Syria’s 12-year conflict, also has different types of military drones. Hezbollah fighters have been on full alert along Lebanon’s borders with Israel following last Saturday’s attack by the militant Palestinian group Hamas that left hundreds of Israeli civilians and soldiers dead (Politico). Collin Rugg: Iran foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian is threatening a “huge earthquake” in Israel if they continue to attack the Gaza Strip. The comments were made after he met with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. “I know about the scenarios that Hezbollah has put in place. Any step the resistance will take will cause a huge earthquake in the Zionist entity” (X).

Star of David Graffitied on Homes, Stores of Jews in Berlin
Daily Mail: The Star of David has been graffitied on the doors of homes in Berlin, in a chilling echo of anti-Semitic persecution of Jewish people under the Nazis. Pictures circulating online show the symbol was drawn on several buildings, with four cases reported to German police in recent days. Jewish people living in the German capital have reported a rise in abuse following Hamas’s bloody attack on Israel last week. The incidents amount to a crime under German law, and seem to be an imitation of the persecution of Jews during the 1930s. During the Holocaust, Nazi brownshirts painted the Star of David in white on the doors of Jewish businesses to discourage non-Jewish Germans from going into them (Daily Mail). Reporter AG Hamilton: History repeats (X). Visegrad24: More and more reports of an ongoing intimidation campaign in Berlin targeting Jews. People are marking houses were Jews live and Jewish-owned stores with a Star of David (X).

Palestine Protest in UK Demands Israel Halt Attacks on Gaza
New York Post: Thousands of demonstrators waving Palestinian flags and demanding Israel stop its military attack on Gaza marched in London Saturday — while police threatened to arrest anyone showing support for the Hamas terrorist group. Marchers holding signs reading “Free Palestine” and “End the Massacre” began at Oxford Circus near the BBC News world headquarters and planned to walk to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s official resident on Downing Street. The protesters railed against the US and UK governments for their support of Israel, despite earlier police warnings that anyone with a flag indicating support for Hamas or any other terrorist groups would be arrested (New York Post). Daily Mail: The lone man brandishing an Israeli flag chased down a London street and surrounded on Saturday by furious pro-Palestine protesters said ‘They wanted to kill me’. Vahid Beheshti, 46, moved to Britain from Iran 25 years ago and was seen in dramatic video footage shared online. It showed pro-Palestinian protesters’ anger boiling over as they were seen trampling on Israeli flags, before Mr. Beshesti had to be encircled by police officers for protection (Daily Mail). BBC: The Met Police said 15 people had been arrested for offences including assaults on emergency workers and setting off fireworks in public places (BBC).

Saudi Arabia to Slow Down Peace Talks with Israel
Fox News: Saudi Arabia indicated that it will shift its focus from talks with Israel to talks with Iran following the Hamas terrorist attack last week, but an expert told Fox News Digital that a normalization deal isn’t off the table. “The Saudi-Israeli relationship has actually been ongoing now for, you know, months, if not years under the table,” Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, senior vice president for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Some experts suggested that the attack occurred in response to recent reports, including during an interview with Bret Baier, Fox News chief political anchor with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, that Saudi Arabia and Israel had neared a point of agreement on normalized relations. The move would have been a major victory for the parties involved, but a major setback for Iran, which has long supported Hamas terrorism in Gaza (Fox News). Jerusalem Post: The Biden administration was deeply invested in the Saudi Arabia-Israel talks, seeing an agreement between the countries as a breakthrough for Israel’s regional acceptance, a blow to Iran’s regional ambitions. Part of the proposal was a US-Saudi defense pact, something the Saudis have longed for years (Jerusalem Post).

Hamas Prevents Gaza Civilians from Evacuating Area
Daily Wire: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has repeatedly urged civilians inside northern Gaza to evacuate immediately as it prepares to start a ground offensive in response to more than 1,300 Israelis who were murdered by Palestinian terrorists with Hamas. The IDF commonly warns civilians to exit buildings and neighborhoods where it is getting ready to conduct airstrikes, but now it is calling for a much larger evacuation (Daily Wire). Israel Foreign Ministry: We have proof that Hamas is putting up roadblocks to prevent Palestinian civilians from evacuating from northern to southern Gaza. Hamas prides itself on putting civilians in harm’s way and is responsible for every civilian casualty (X).

China Issues Warning to U.S.: "those who play with fire will perish by it"
Newsweek: China has reacted to a recent U.S. report weighing up the possibility of simultaneous wars against both Moscow and Beijing by warning Washington that “those who play with fire will perish by it.” The U.S. is not ready to face the challenge of the growing nuclear threat posed by Russia and China. This is according to a 145-page report released by the Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States on Thursday. In the report, the behavior of both Russia and China is described as “militarily troubling and increasingly aggressive,” something that in turn has increased “the risk of conflict with two nuclear peers.” China is expected to reach nuclear parity with the U.S. by the mid-2030s (Newsweek). Townhall: This is not the first time China has warned the U.S. Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Global Times published an article cautioning the U.S. that there would be consequences if it chooses to support Taiwan, saying this can lead to conflict (Townhall).

Prostitution Explodes in California After Decriminalization by Governor Newsom
Daily Wire: Californians are complaining about barely-clothed prostitutes roaming the streets in broad daylight, an issue heightened by Democratic Gov. Newsom signing Senate Bill 357, local officials say.  SB 357, which was authored by Democratic state Sen. Scott Wiener and backed by the ACLU, decriminalizes “loitering with intent to commit prostitution.” Critics say the law effectively decriminalizes prostitution in California. National City Mayor Ron Morrison, an independent, recently criticized the law, telling Fox News that prostitutes are now “wearing less than what you would consider a scanty negligee” and “flaunting it in everybody’s face.” Morrison also said the law, which was signed by Newsom last year, ties the hands of law enforcement, stating that the “moment” the bill was signed “everyone knew the rules were out the window” (Daily Wire). Daily Mail: Morrison showed the outlet pictures that he claimed show sex workers walking near Integrity Charter School, where parents drop their kids off. According to Morrison, officials are now actively looking to help businesses and hotels that have felt the effects of the prostitution. The non-partisan mayor also said that as soon as Democrat Newsom’s pen touched the bill, prostitution began expanding in the state (Daily Mail).
