I thought I should take a moment to address some of the most frequently asked questions I get about HER Time:

1. Why do you send all of these emails?
   These emails are the primary way HER Time raises money to support all the work we do. Whether that’s advocating for our issues (like passing the SHIELD Act), protecting abortion, or boosting women candidates like Lauren Underwood or Angie Craig. They’re also the most direct way for our team to send critical updates to our supporters — like you!
2. Does my $5 really make a difference?
   Yes! $5 may seem insignificant compared to the huge checks pouring in from Republican super PACs, but small donations prove the power of a grassroots team. When you multiply $3 or $5 or $10 over and over by everyone reading these emails, the impact can be huge. But grassroots power only works if everyone plays their part. 
3. Do you expect me to donate every time we reach out?
   Of course not! But we do hope you open our emails and give them a read, because they have the most up-to-date information about our work, and your engagement helps us out.
