John, it is as clear as day: The problem with the Electoral College is not that Donald Trump tried — and nearly succeeded — to abuse its mechanisms to illegally remain in power. The problem is the system itself. It is archaic, and undemocratic, and it remains ripe for abuse by unscrupulous actors — whether their last name is Trump or not.
