I’m reaching out today to ask for your help. We need to hit every fundraising goal our team sets, and we’re coming up short of our mid-month goal as the midnight deadline approaches. Let me tell you why it’s so important:
We’re at a critical point in the race, while we’re watching extreme MAGA Republicans continuing to make a mockery of our government.
After MAGA extremists held our government hostage under threat of a shutdown, then turned the role of Speaker of the House into a partisan popularity contest, they are now in disarray as they attempt to pick the next Speaker. At home in Texas, we are seeing GOP lawmakers fight each other and threaten public schools in yet another special session.
John, we can’t afford to have any more ineffective politicians elected to office. That’s why it’s critical that we elect the most experienced and effective Democrat in this race to hold CD 32 so that we have a chance of choosing the next Speaker – and can pass legislation to codify Roe, pass a National Equality Act, and protect U.S. elections.
