Key findings:

• 74% of all voters support a person’s right to make their own reproductive decisions.
• Notably, 91% of Democrats, 81% of Independents, and even half of Republicans support this right.
• Among abortion rights supporters, the issues of abortion and women’s rights are top priorities for their vote in the coming elections.
• Abortion and the Equal Rights Amendment are strong voter turnout issues separately but even more powerful when combined.
• 7 in 10 voters support placing the ERA in the Constitution, with a majority (57%) strongly in favor.
• 59% of voters consider themselves to be a feminist or a strong feminist, compared to 29% who say they are not a feminist or anti-feminist.

With these incredible polling numbers and the support of the public, we will push forward with our key issues, including enshrining the ERA into the Constitution, defending abortion clinics, getting out the vote on college campuses, and fighting for women and girls in Afghanistan. But we need resources to do it. That is where your renewal gift comes in.

There may be as many as seven state referenda in 2024, and you can be sure that the Feminist Majority Foundation will be working to turn out the college campus vote, which is overwhelmingly for reproductive rights.

And as we work to fight for equality here in the U.S., we must not forget about the women and girls in Afghanistan. We must work to ensure that gender apartheid is recognized by the UN as an international crime against humanity and to ensure that the U.S. and the UN continue their policies of non-recognition of the Taliban.
