Dear John,
The essence of our campaign is a revolt against an unjust economic status quo. It is a vision of American prosperity for everyone, not just for wealthy individuals and corporations.
For the last forty years, our economy has worked less and less for everyday working people. We spend billions of taxpayer dollars subsidizing huge multinational corporations that create products with which they price gauge the very consumers who helped pay for them. And that isn't an accident. It's now built into the system that policy after policy makes it easier for those who already have capital to get more, while those who do not have access to capital have an even harder time getting by.
That unjust status quo will not disrupt itself... but I will .

As the lone xxxxxx against an unopposed establishment, our campaign's resolve intensifies. However, this journey demands collective might. Your generous donation propels us further, challenging the corporate clutches on our democracy.
We put out an emergency fundraising call, and while we haven’t completely reached our goal as of today, we expect to close the gap between the next two days. So thank you! And while that urgent plea for funds put our ship upright for now, we need to move into the next phase of our campaign: digital and TV ads with which to get our message out to more people!
The citizens of the United States have been trained to expect too little, to limit our political imaginations, to think expecting our own tax dollars to serve us and our children is somehow asking for a handout.
This campaign is an opportunity to change all that. And for that reason, fundraising now is enormously important. Your support is not merely a donation; it's a pledge towards a society that values the many over the few.
Together, let's redefine what's possible and create a country that works for the working people of America .
