I want to be clear – I’m only running for one office: United States Congress to represent South Carolina’s 1st district. 

Unlike Nancy Mace, I’m not running to become famous, go viral, appear on talk shows, or be an insurrectionist’s VP pick.

I’m running to continue my family’s long tradition of public service that stretches back to the Civil War.

I’m running because I want my four sons to have clean air, clean water, and safe streets.

I’m running to end book bans and stop MAGA politicians like Nancy Mace from erasing our history.
