In our country and around the world, we are experiencing historical crises. Rest assured, I am fighting each day to keep our communities safe and uphold the values of our district. Read below for an update on my work serving you.

Standing With Israel

Last weekend, the world watched as Hamas launched a deadly terrorist attack on Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East. We cannot allow Hamas’ unprovoked, and terroristic assault on Israel go unpunished. Our enemies need to understand there is no place for them in this fight, while our allies should have confidence that we will be there when they call.

This week, someone came to my D.C. office and removed my Stand With Israel sign. Let me be clear, this is not just about a stolen sign, this is about uniting as a country to stand alongside our closest ally in a fight against hate and evil. More than 35 Americans have been killed or are still missing along with more than 1000 Israeli’s. In times like these, we look to the Bible, which tells us we must stand with Israel and give our full support in their fight against evil. Congress and President Biden must show strong and unwavering support for our friends in Israel.

Protecting Our Second Amendment

As Chairman of the Committee on Small Business, I penned a letter along with members of the committee to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) director regarding a new proposed rule that will negatively impact small firearm dealers. This is another backdoor attempt to make a universal gun registry. This rule would force thousands of gun owners to register as Federally Licensed Firearms Dealers while criminals will simply ignore this new requirement. The ridiculous new requirement will do nothing to improve public safety and only shows the Biden Administration’s contempt for the Second Amendment. Read the full letter here.
