With less than a month to go before the most important Virginia election in recent history, conservative extremists are waging hidden war on a secret battlefield.



As reported by the New York Times, “Under a peculiarity of Virginia law… After Mr. Youngkin won the governor’s office in 2021, electoral boards across the state flipped to 2-to-1 Republican control from 2-to-1 Democratic control.”



GOP extremist groups like Virginia Fair Elections are pouring resources into recruiting and training poll workers and election officials. They are simultaneously infiltrating electoral due process while setting the stage to intimidate and disenfranchise voters. This is what election interference actually looks like.



Under MAGA Republican control, many counties across the Commonwealth have also canceled Sunday voting including Richmond.



This is what we are up against, and why we must double down before it’s too late. Virginia Democrats are at risk of a hijacked Commonwealth if we don’t succeed. The DPVA is fighting at full force, but we are running out of time and resources.
