It’s frustrating watching all the political games happening in Congress. That’s why I ran for Congress in the first place. I saw that Mainers were being left behind in all the partisanship, and I decided to do something about it.

Now, I’m fighting for my community back home — working to lower costs, defending our veterans, prioritizing health care access, and taking on the corruption in the DC beltway. I will continue putting my working-class and middle-class constituents above the noise from lobbyists and special interests, and making sure Mainers can see themselves in every decision I make and in every vote I take.

But even with all that, I can’t change this town on my own. That’s why I’ve joined forces with other members who are just as determined as I am to put their constituents over the partisan games in DC. Together, we make up the Blue Dogs. And together, we have a good chance to change how things are done in DC. But we need help from our grassroots supporters to get it done.

I know that all across the country, there are folks who are just as upset as I am with all the political games and who want to join us in DC to make a difference.
