We don’t usually like to bother you on a Sunday afternoon with a long email, but our reelection campaign’s mid-month fundraising deadline expires tonight at midnight.

Nikki has been working tirelessly to deliver meaningful results for people in Central and Southern Illinois, like the $7.8 million contract for the Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company from the Defense Logistics Agency for temperate weather combat boots, which will be supplied to the U.S. Army for the next two years.

This is a result of Nikki’s steadfast effort to work across the aisle to support domestic military equipment manufacturing at Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company, the oldest and leading manufacturer of boots for the U.S. Military.

In July, she secured a bipartisan amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act alongside Republican Congressman Mike Bost that would require the Department of Defense to examine current military footwear regulations and provide recommendations on improvements to support the footwear needs of our troops.

Nikki’s ready to continue fighting to expand job opportunities, raise the federal minimum wage, and support our local economies, so we wanted to reach out to see if you’ll help our team stay on track to reach our mid-month fundraising goal so she can stay focused on passing critical legislation.

National Republicans are eager to expand their House majority, and Nikki’s seat is one of their top targets, so we’ll need the resources to fight back as we prepare for next year’s election.
