This year, I have made my stance in Congress clear. I will not shy away from holding members accountable, no matter the case. I’ve done it with George Santos. I’ve done it with Marjorie Taylor Greene. And I will continue to fight for truth, justice, and accountability of all lawmakers. Because that is what Americans deserve.
But standing up for the truth and accountability sometimes means making yourself a target, and that has become a reality for me.
Fighting against far-right extremists has not been easy, but serving the people and being your voice in Congress was never supposed to be. When has fighting for truth and justice ever been? However, standing against right-wing national attacks is going to be an ongoing challenge, and I can’t do it alone.
