"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
ACLJ Prayer Guide

John,

A week has passed since the monstrous attack on Israel. The death toll continues to rise, and the images and reports of the war crimes against innocent Israeli women and children are heartbreaking. During times like this, we must remember that the Lord is still in control and gives comfort to His people. God hasn't abandoned Israel, and He will continue to sustain her.

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

While we are grieving the tragedy in Israel, the ACLJ is also working to ensure Israel has the support she needs. Last week, we sent letters to key congressional leaders, the U.N. Secretary-General, and the Council of Europe, demanding swift action to defend Israel and hold her enemies accountable. We are also mobilizing our office in Jerusalem to defend Israel's interests. Please pray that our efforts are fruitful in helping Israel in the days ahead. And most importantly, please pray for the Israeli people.

Thank you so much for praying for Israel and our efforts to help our ally.

God Bless,

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel
