John – I need to be blunt with you today.

One of the toughest parts of running for U.S. Senate is the enormous amount of money that it takes to build a winning campaign.

That's why I am committed to doing all I can to help my Senate colleagues who are up for election in 2024. Because, John, the Senate map this cycle is not favorable for Democrats.

Whether or not we are able to defend the Democratic Senate majority will be decided by people like you contributing $10, $25, or $50 at a time. And it's critical that we send an unmistakable message to Mitch McConnell and his right-wing super PACs that we are together.

Tonight at midnight we're facing a mid-month fundraising deadline that we've set to stay on track to reach our goals. So please, John, I'm respectfully asking:

Can you make a $5 contribution before our mid-month fundraising drive comes to a close at midnight tonight? I would not be asking if your support wasn't so important to our campaign.

As I look toward the work ahead of us — both in the Senate and on the ground in swing states across the country — grassroots support is going to be critically important as we take on the challenges to come.
