If we raise enough we can support more strong candidates — candidates who can win at the state level in Virginia, or who can take back the House, or expand our margin in the Senate. We can run ads around the country — ads that can swing races and win elections.

If we don’t raise enough, we have to scale back. And our foes in the GOP will notice… they’ll start making plans of their own, and that could lead to barrages of attack ads that can sink a campaign.
