With a Democratic Governor and two Democratic Senators, there’s a common misconception that Michigan is a safe blue state. Unfortunately, that’s just not true.

The Michigan GOP recently filed a lawsuit to roll back voting rights measures passed by voters in 2018 and 2022. These measures include same-day voter registration, nine days of early voting, absentee voting, and more.

Republicans think that if they tamper with our democracy, the outcome of elections will lean in their favor, and they’ll successfully reclaim Michigan.
