This week, Andrew cosponsored the “Operation Swords of Iron” Iron Dome Supplemental Appropriations Act to restock Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. Without the critical Iron Dome system, which intercepts Palestinian rockets in the air, many more civilians would have been wounded or killed. In a statement Andrew said, "I’ve visited Israel and heard first hand from officials and families on the ground how important the Iron Dome is in protecting the Israeli people from Hamas. The Iron Dome has saved countless lives from barrages of Hamas rockets. Now, as they face a barbaric, merciless assault by these terrorists, it’s more important than ever that Israel is able to defend itself from missile attacks."

This week, Andrew led over 20 Members in a bipartisan letter to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell requesting an update on FEMA’s implementation of an installment payment system to allow all National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) policyholders to pay premiums in monthly installments instead of on an annual basis.
