While Republican governors, like Ron DeSantis in Florida and Greg Abbott in Texas, focus their cultural extremist war on banning books, their states are seeing mass shootings and gun violence.
Instead of passing gun safety reform to protect children in school, their only focus is banning books.
In Florida, librarians could even face felony charges if they don’t comply with the new book bans.
All of this is under the guise of “protecting children from inappropriate content.” Yet, they refuse to protect our children from gun violence.
