Spread facts not fear about coronavirus
The risk of getting coronavirus in the U.S. is currently low. However, like with the seasonal flu, older adults and those with chronic health conditions are at higher risk of being impacted if the illness does spread.

NCOA urges Congress to act on funding for coverage of coronavirus testing and treatment
Congress should take immediate steps to provide appropriate funding for a strong, comprehensive public health campaign to fight the deadly coronavirus disease. A fully funded public health response that includes providing Medicare coverage of potential vaccines and other treatment options will save lives, and we urge Congress to significantly increase by several magnitudes the White House’s current $2.5 billion budget to combat this disease.

Connecting generations in senior housing
With funding from the Retirement Research Foundation, a toolkit developed by Generations United and the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston is now a website with downloadable resources. Designed specifically to help senior housing organizations plan and implement high-quality intergenerational programs, the materials contained in the toolkit offers tips on deepening or expanding your intergenerational work.
