Roll Call has upgraded Texas from a "Safe Republican" seat to a "Battleground," making this race the only chance we have to pick up a GOP-held seat – a powerful testament to the grassroots movement we're building against Ted Cruz. But, CBS News says this could be one of the most competitive and expensive races this cycle. 

That's why my mid-month fundraising deadline is so important – we have to hit every goal to win this race. But right now, we're still short of our $47,880 mid-month goal with just one day to go.
