The chaos and dysfunction of the House GOP continues for another week as they scramble to find – and keep – a Speaker of the House.
With the Speaker vote delayed, that means all other work in Congress has come to a complete halt. And at a moment when critical issues like the situations in Israel and Ukraine, and an impending government shutdown demand Congress’ attention, the GOP’s inability to lead has real consequences.
There’s no two ways around it: The Republican majority has failed the American people.
