I couldn’t believe my eyes Friend,

After a long day on the campaign trail, I went to fill up my car and noticed
the sign at the gas station.OVER FIVE DOLLARS FOR A GALLON OF GAS.

No matter where you go in Nevada right now, you’d be lucky to find a station
selling gas for less than five dollars.

Who am I and what am I supposed to do!?

Those were the most difficult questions I was forced to ask myself after my
vehicle ran over a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

I didn’t know who I was after I was medically retired from the Military… After
I took my uniform off for the last time.

My uniform had been a symbol of service and sacrifice that I had always known
from the days I spent admiring my father.

But it turns out that was just the first part of my story.

Today, I know who I am: I’m a father that wants my children to grow up living
in a better America than I did.

I’m a husband that always puts my family first.

I’m a Nevadan that sees the hard work and dedication the people of our state
embody every single day.

And now I’m ready to be a voice for you, the American people.
