This one election could determine whether Democrats win back the Senate. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Team, there’s a very important election happening in Maine this year.

In fact, this one race is so critical that it could end up determining which party controls the Senate next year.

Sara Gideon is the leading Democratic candidate for this seat. A public servant who has served admirably as Maine’s Speaker of the House, she is positioned to win in November and help us take back the Senate. A recent poll of the state even had her in the lead in a general election matchup -- showing that this is a winnable race.

Now is the time for us to give Sara our support and help her raise the resources she’ll need to win. Can you split a donation between our campaigns today to help Democrats regain control of the Senate?

There’s no doubt that Republicans in Washington, D.C. are going to expend a significant amount of resources to defend this seat. We’re going to have to do our part to help Sara compete with the special interests and dark money groups that are sure to pour millions of dollars into this race.

Now that a poll is showing Sara in the lead, it’s a great time to step up and help power her campaign to victory this fall. If you can, please split a donation so we can flip this seat.

I know that I, as well as so many residents of the great state of Maine, would be proud to call Sara Senator Gideon next year. Thank you for helping to make that happen.
