Friend,
It’s impossible to walk through the wilderness of Colorado and not feel awe. This summer, I made it a point to get out and hike as much as possible to enjoy the beauty of our state. On my hikes, I brought along public officials, conservationists, and outdoor recreationists to discuss the importance of our public lands. Earlier this week, my team sent along some of the pictures I took on my adventures. You can see them for yourself below! Our public lands are a gift. It’s on us to protect them for generations to come. That’s why I’m fighting to pass the CORE Act to Congress. This law would protect 400,000 acres of land across Colorado. It would preserve critical wilderness areas, make outdoor recreation more accessible, and strengthen our local economy.
I’m fighting hard to pass this through the Senate. Will you support my work to protect public lands by signing on now? Become a citizen co-sponsor of the CORE Act >> Thank you so much, Michael |

Hi friend, Colorado is the most beautiful state in the country. And there’s no better way to see everything our home has to offer than long hikes in the summer.
When Michael was home, he did just that — bringing together mayors, advocates, and sportsmen on these hikes to talk about why these public lands are so critical to Colorado. Check out some of his pictures below! |

One of Michael’s top priorities in the Senate has been protecting public lands across Colorado. In 2022, he helped establish the Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument, which protected more than 50,000 acres of public land. The Tenmile Range — which includes Quandary Peak, one of the 14’ers Michael climbed this summer — is part of this protected land.
Michael has also been working hard to pass the Colorado Outdoor Recreation & Economy (CORE) Act, which would protect 400,000 acres of public lands. To draft this bill, Michael brought together local government, businesses, recreation groups, sportsmen, and conservationists. The end result is a win-win for our economy, our culture of outdoor recreation, and Colorado’s ecosystems.
Will you join a coalition of Coloradans showing their support for the CORE Act? Sign on now to help Michael protect our public lands >> |
Happy hiking! Thanks, Team Bennet |
