It’s no joke, John: The path to flipping the House blue in 2024 really does run through the South.
FIRST: Over the summer, the Supreme Court’s decision in Allen v. Milligan struck down Alabama’s discriminatory congressional map and ordered the legislature to draw a new, fair map before the next election.
BUT: Instead of following the Court’s clear instructions to enact a new, fair map, Alabama Republicans defied the Court’s order by voting to enact another manipulated map.
THANKFULLY: The Supreme Court unanimously rejected this attempt by Alabama to continue illegally discriminating against Black voters.
SO NOW: Not only will Alabama be required to implement a fair map before the next election, but other states like Louisiana and Georgia could be required to redraw their maps as well.
The fight for fair maps happening across the South right now will determine the landscape for the fight for the House majority in 2024. Will you rush an urgent donation to support the NDR PAC’s efforts to elect leaders who will fight for fairness?

“These shameful, odious efforts to diminish the rightful voting power of Black Alabamians have finally been defeated. As a result, we will see more representative maps in places that were once thought to be unreachable in the fight for fairness: Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia.”
– Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. |
John, our grassroots movement is making real progress across the country – but now is not the time to let up. It’s clear that Republicans will do anything to protect their manipulated maps, so we must keep fighting until we’ve secured fair districts in every single state.
The NDR PAC is committed to this fight for the long haul, and we’re asking our top supporters to join us with a donation of any amount today. Will you pitch in?
