It’s time to ban members of Congress from trading stocks.

It’s not rocket science. I ran for office to clean up government, and this bill stops lawmakers from using their office to line their own pockets. We need to pass the ETHICS Act.

This legislation is important, John, and it’s time we put our grassroots support behind it. It’s up to us to keep crooked politicians from manipulating insider information for their personal benefit.

Some lawmakers might prefer I stay quiet about this, but I believe that the worst thing a politician can do is abandon authenticity and hard work. So I’m taking action, and I need you in my corner, John.

Members of Congress should not be buying or selling individual stocks—it's not that complicated. I, and every one of my colleagues, should be here to fight for our constituents, not for personal financial gain.
