I’ve seen a lot during my time in Congress, but recent events over the last couple of weeks have shown that the dysfunction is out of control.
When the work we’re doing in DC comes to a halt, it does more than just make for headlines and news stories. It has real consequences for people all over the country, and that’s why this chaos needs to come to an end.
I’m committed to putting the needs and concerns of Americans first, even if it means working with those on the other side of the aisle. I made a promise to represent my constituents and district, and I take that promise very seriously and work every day to keep it.
