Friend – with less than 48 hours before our critical mid-month fundraising deadline, we’re still short of our goal. Here’s why hitting our goal is so important:

FIRST: I announced my historic candidacy to be Delaware's first woman and person of color in the Senate. I’m used to having the odds stacked against me, but Black women raise one-third of what white candidates do. That’s where the support of this grassroots team comes in.

THEN: My first GOP opponent jumped into the race just as our fundraising began to slow down and national Republicans announced a plan to raise millions to flip the Senate red.

NOW: My fundraising numbers are about to go public for everyone to see, but I’m falling short of what I need to close the fundraising gap to win and make history.

In a race as historic as this one, we can’t afford to miss a single goal. So with time running out before tomorrow’s critical mid-month deadline, we’re counting on folks like you to step up.
