Business in the United States House of Representatives has ground to a halt because the deep fractures in the Republican Party are preventing their caucus from agreeing on anything – from a rule to the next Speaker.
Republicans have no strategy or organization, and every minute spent in this chaos has moved us farther from, not closer to, an end to this debacle.
Without a Speaker of the House, we cannot work towards resolving our 2024 spending before the November 17 deadline. House Republicans' ego-driven tactics let the American people down.
