John, Michael B. Moore here. My opponent Nancy Mace has been in the news a lot recently. Unfortunately, none of it is good for South Carolinians and the issues they need addressed. First, Nancy Mace joined Matt Gaetz and his crew to vote to oust her party’s Speaker. • This brought the House’s work to a screeching halt, and is leaving us without action on the conflict in Israel, the government spending bill, and day-to-day business that South Carolinians elected Nancy Mace to complete. Then, she wore a scarlet ‘A’ on her shirt because she felt “demonized” for the vote she cast against McCarthy. • I wish I was joking, John – this really happened. This is just Nancy Mace’s latest political stunt to fundraise off of the chaos that she helped orchestrate. Enough of the charades and showmanship – South Carolina needs a leader. Now, Nancy Mace has joined Jim Jordan as an early supporter of his campaign for Speaker of the House. • He is one of the most dangerous people we could have as Speaker, and I mean that sincerely. Jordan pushed election conspiracies leading up to the January 6th insurrection, has consistently voted against protecting voting rights, and I could go on. What’s clear is that Nancy Mace has no intention of leading on the issues that matter most to real people. Instead, she’d rather be padding her pockets with cash from far-right mega-donors who live for this sort of nonsense.
