The Democrats have been ready, willing, and able to find bipartisan solutions that deliver for the American people since day one. So far, the Republican majority has been nothing but a disaster – focused on politics rather than the American people.
I cannot find the words to express my disappointment. We barely avoided a government shutdown this month, and Republicans are again threatening a shutdown on November 17. We must keep the government open so we can continue to pay our military personnel, maintain access to SNAP & WIC, and move forward with important infrastructure projects.
Democrats have always fought to keep the government open and serve the American people. We put people over politics. That’s why we must act this year to flip the House back to Democratic control by keeping seats blue and winning every seat we possibly can. I hope you’ll join me in this fight.
