Western Fuels-Wyoming Inc., of Gillette, Wyoming has filed a mining permit renewal application with the Land Quality Division of the Department of Environmental Quality for the State of Wyoming for the mining of coal in Campbell County, Wyoming. Permit 599, Dry Fork Mine is located approximately 5 miles north of Gillette, Wyoming on Garner Lake Road. The application may be viewed at the Cheyenne or Sheridan Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be readvertised for public comment prior to approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
