96A Message from the ChairwomanGrowing and Improving Party
OperationsTeam,

Your Indiana Republican State Committee is committed
to growing and improving our party operations. We understand that in
order to do that, we have to empower our grassroots leaders with the
best tools possible to help get Republicans elected up and down the
ballot. One way that we were able to do that recently was through an
opportunity with the Republican National Committee called the County
Chair Fly In, a conference the RNC held in Kansas City.

At this
conference, the RNC allows each state to send up to three county chairs
to come network and learn some of the new and best strategies to help
our candidates win. Representing us were Johnson County Chair Beth
Boyce, Montgomery County Chair Jim Johnson and Noble County Chair Shelly
Williams. While at this training, they were able to network with many of
their peers from across the country and learn some new ways to help
candidates across our state. They were able to hear in-depth
presentations on how to improve our communications, data, digital, and
fundraising efforts. They were also able to hear from RNC leadership
about our increased efforts to promote [link removed]
"banking your vote" in 2023 and beyond.

I want to thank our county
chairs for taking the time to go this important training, and for the
tools and knowledge they brought back to help the Indiana GOP continue
to grow. We look forward to partnering in training opportunities
throughout the state, and ultimately are looking forward to seeing many
of you at Congress of Counties in February where we will share these
tools, techniques, and have the opportunity to refine our best
practices.

As always, thank you for all you do to make our party and
our state thrive!

Week in Review đźš— Gov. Holcomb announces second Stellantis, Samsung SDI
EV battery manufacturing facility, $3.2B investment Governor Eric J.
Holcomb announced today that Stellantis (NYSE: STLA) and Samsung SDI
will significantly expand electric vehicle battery manufacturing
operations in Indiana, investing more than $3.2 billion. The facility
will be the joint venture’s second StarPlus Energy gigafactory in
Kokomo. To support this growth, the companies plan to create 1,400 new,
high-wage jobs in north central Indiana, growing its total planned
workforce to 2,800 jobs.

“Indiana’s economy is on a roll,” said Gov.
Holcomb. “Today’s commitment from Stellantis and Samsung SDI will double
the capital investment, the new jobs created, and the impact this joint
venture will have on Kokomo and the state of Indiana for decades to
come. This decision puts Hoosiers squarely at the center of innovating
and developing the future of mobility, catalyzing Indiana’s leadership
position in tomorrow’s global economy.”

Republicans Standing with Israel Governor Eric Holcomb - "Reports this
morning of the brutally directed Hamas land, air, and sea invasion into
Israel brings the cruel reminder that terrorism seeks war not peace. The
over 2,200 rockets launched into civilian neighborhoods, the long list
of civilians killed and injured, the hostages taken are all tear
jerking, especially knowing the war Hamas planned and sought, is the war
they will get..."

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch - "Having visited
Israel just last year, I am deeply saddened by the attacks that have
taken place over the course of the day. My heart goes out to the Israeli
people and the families of those who have already lost their lives to
these senseless terrorist attacks. I pray for a speedy resolution and
that Israel can once again experience peace."

Senator Todd Young - "I
have strongly opposed the Administration’s decision to transfer $6
billion to the Iranian regime, which supports and funds Hamas, and I am
pleased to see growing bipartisan congressional support for freezing
these funds..."

Senator Mike Braun - "Iran knew they had $6 billion
coming their way, and that windfall freed up resources to plan & execute
the heinous terrorist attack from Hamas against our greatest ally in the
region, Israel. The U.S. should freeze these funds immediately &
permanently..."

Attorney General Todd Rokita - "our office teamed up
with a coalition of 27 AGs in a joint statement condemning the Hamas
terrorist attacks on Israel."

Congressman Rudy Yakym - "Hamas’
barbaric terrorist attacks on Israel have shocked the conscience of the
civilized world. Israel has an unequivocal right to defend itself and
her citizens. America will always stand with Israel."

Congressman Jim
Banks - "We must do everything in our power to help Israel. One of my
amendments to the FY24 NDAA ensures Israel has the precision-guided
munitions needed to prevail in a fight with Iran and its terrorist
proxies. We need to get back to work and pass our strong House NDAA
right away."

Congressman Jim Baird - "The attack by Hamas on the
Israeli people is heinous and unacceptable. Now more than ever, we must
stand by our Israeli allies in their struggle for peace and security. I
stand with Israel now and always."

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz -
"Acts of terror committed against Israeli civilians this weekend cannot
be tolerated by the international community. I urge our allies in the
Middle East to stand with the people of Israel and not allow Teheran and
Moscow to destabilize the Middle East using Hamas terrorists as a tool,
and destroy the lives of millions. The United States will stand with the
people of Israel in their fight to defend themselves and their nation."
Congressman Greg Pence - "Today, just 26 days after the Biden admin
agreed to send $6 billion dollars to Iran, Israel, our strongest ally in
the Middle-East, is under an unprecedented terrorist attack by
Iran-backed Hamas. I stand with Israel, condemn these attacks, & I am
praying for all those affected."

Congressman Larry Bucshon - "I stand
with the people of Israel, a key ally and friend to the United States.
We must condemn this ruthless terror by Hamas and fully support Israel’s
right to defend itself."

Congresswoman Erin Houchin - "I condemn, in
the strongest possible terms, the unjustified and disgusting attacks by
Hamas on our friend and ally Israel. Today, and everyday, I stand with
the people of Israel as they defend their homeland from the scourge of
terrorism."
