I know you're busy but I need you to hear me out on this:

At the time of writing this, there are several bills on immigration that the House has passed that have been stalled in the Senate.

One bill, for example, is the Dream Act that protects young immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children by granting them permanent residency with a path to citizenship. Another bill would increase transparency and accountability within the Department of Homeland Security and improve training for officers in this government agency.

Good legislation to assist immigrants has been approved in the House because Latino Victory Fund has helped elect legislators like Victoria Escobar, Adriano Espaillat, Debbie Murcarsel-Powell but the Senate continues to dismiss good laws and prevent them from ever seeing the light of day. I'm writing to you because I need your help to change this.

My friends at Latino Victory Project are working tirelessly to help elect candidates that support our vision for a country where immigrants are represented, celebrated, and most importantly, elected.

For the immigrant children who are wondering if they'll be here tomorrow, for the immigrant families who pray that they won't be separated at the border, and for all immigrants who have been the backbone of this country, please consider donating to our efforts of electing more immigrants and Latinos that share our vision of humanizing our country.
