Breaking via CNN: House GOP picks Jim Jordan as speaker nominee amid leadership crisis

Friend: We've seen nothing but chaos since Republicans took control of the House of Representatives.

Now, House Republicans have picked Ohio Republican Jim Jordan – a far-right extremist and close ally of Donald Trump – as their new speaker nominee. But it's still unclear if ANYONE has the votes to actually become speaker at this moment.

With the GOP unable to get its act together and agree on a leader, the House is unable to move forward on any legislation!
