Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

David Friedman will continue to serve as a Member of the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board.* Friedman is the founder and CEO of AutonomyWorks, an innovative social enterprise that employs people with autism. The company provides outsourced operations support for large organizations, including Pepsico, Morningstar, and Grainger, and taps into the unique talents of people with autism to deliver exceptional quality and productivity. Prior to AutonomyWorks, Friedman had a 25-year career as a marketing executive where he served as President of Marketing for Sears Holdings overseeing a $1 billion marketing budget. In addition, Friedman spent 11 years as an executive with Razorfish, where he served as President-Americas managing 14 offices in four countries. Friedman is a member of the Board of Directors for Smithbucklin and an advisor to several dynamic growth companies. He currently serves as a Member on the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board and the State Rehabilitation Council. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
