The Texas Senate Passes School Choice in 3rd Special Session by Vote of 18-13! |
Today, Thursday October 12th, the Texas Senate passed SB 1, a School Choice bill. This third Special Session called by Governor Greg Abbott started this past Monday on October 9th. But the battle isn’t over yet, the bill now goes to the House for a vote soon! Stay tuned for updates!
This Sunday, October 15 is School Choice Sunday. Pastors across the state of Texas will be talking about how important it is for parents to be able to provide the best education for their children. |

The 2023 Texas Values Faith and Family Scorecard is a legislative scorecard based on the 88th Texas Legislative Session that measures how state legislators perform on issues impacting faith and families. Legislators who score 90% and above are recognized as "Faith and Family Champions"! |
