Hi, John, it's Jenn McClellan, the Congresswoman from VA-04.

During my 18 sessions in the Virginia General Assembly, I fought hard for progress, justice, and equity. I led the passage of the Reproductive Health Protection Act -- making Virginia the first state in the South to proactively expand abortion rights. And I was proud to be an EMILYs List-endorsed candidate last year during my special election to represent VA-04. 

It's no secret -- the upcoming election is going to decide the fate of the ENTIRE Virginia legislature. Reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ rights, and fully funding our schools are all at risk. Gov. Youngkin has made it clear where he stands on these issues, and right now our small majority in the Virginia Senate is the only thing standing in his way.

John, this isn't a normal election. If the GOP takes control of Virginia this November, it will embolden the MAGA movement across the country. So, we have to do absolutely everything we can to elect Democratic pro-choice women to the state legislature.

But early voting is just days away, and if we don't support the Democratic pro-choice women running in Virginia, there is a real risk that our future could be decided by a bunch of MAGA Republicans.
