Have you been following the global climate strikes over the past year? Are you wanting to learn more on how to become involved? Then join us on Tuesday, March 10th to hear from one of the most inspiring groups out there, Extinction Rebellion, as they tackle the question, “are we heading for extinction?”
The group’s creative and non-violent civil disobedience started in the fall of 2018 in London. Since then their movement has spread globally, including to our home - Washington, DC. If there is a time to become involved, it is now. On Tuesday night we will be discussing the philosophy and history of their movement, and of course - how YOU can become more engaged. RSVP now to hear directly from Extinction Rebellion activists on March 10 at 7:30pm. This conversation will be led by CCAN Action Fund and we expect a big crowd.
