Serving in Congress and representing Pennsylvania’s Fourth district is the honor of my life. That my neighbors have entrusted me to do this job is an enormous privilege and a solemn responsibility – one that I do not take lightly.

The top issue you wanted Congress to work on was gun violence prevention and taking on climate change. At the same time, you wanted to see House Democrats fight to protect reproductive rights, voting rights, and support democracy in all corners of the globe.

Friends, who we elect determines how we address issues — or whether we address them at all. We’ve seen the current GOP majority – with a reckless, vocal far-right minority calling the shots – lead us to a Speaker-less House, jeopardizing our ability to do the work we were sent here to do.
