🌳 The new threat to our Greenbelt


In a speech this week, Keir Starmer doubled down on building over our Greenbelt.

This week, Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour Party leader, doubled down on his commitment to building on the nation's Greenbelt. Furthermore, he vowed to override local opposition.

Working with the local community and Ponteland’s Conservative Councillors, we stopped Labour’s last attempt to surround Ponteland and develop our Greenbelt. We cannot allow Labour’s plans for Ponteland to go ahead!

An update on Israel


Earlier this week, I co-signed a letter with cross-party Parliamentary colleagues sending a message of support to Israel’s President Isaac Herzog.

I am shocked by the barbaric attacks by Hamas terrorists against Israeli citizens.

The attack by Iran’s Hamas proxy is a futile attempt to harm the movement for peace across the region, as Israel and its Arab neighbours work jointly for a future of shared prosperity.

Israel has an absolute right to defend itself.

I was proud to support this letter. My thanks to cross-party colleagues who signed.

We stand with Israel.

🏥 Fighting to cut waiting lists with new NHS facility in West Northumberland


Guy regularly meets with local NHS partners and government ministers to secure backing for the project.

To cut the NHS backlog and provide local options for care, I am fighting for a new, multi-million pound facility in Haltwhistle.

This week, I have been meeting the local NHS partners to push for the investment and continue to lobby the Government for funding.

If successful, more patients would receive care in their locality, and extra bed space would cut backlogs.
