Republicans brought our nation within three hours of a government shutdown, and now Congress has just one month to come up with a deal to avert the next one. Instead of working to fix the problems our country faces, the House Republicans are in a civil war that has paralyzed Congress at a critical time.

This is not how our government is supposed to function. Frankly, it's an embarrassment and an affront to the American people who — rightfully — expect their leaders to do their jobs.

As the Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Suzan is in charge of taking back the House and making Hakeem Jeffries the next Speaker. She needs your help!

From the American Rescue Plan that helped struggling families and brought our economy back after a devastating pandemic to the Inflation Reduction Act — the biggest investment ever in combating climate change — Democrats proved they’re ready and able to get the job done.

There’s more work to do, and Republicans have made it unequivocally clear the only way we can continue making progress is by booting them out of the majority.
